This Girl has BANGS!!!

I have always had issues with my hair.
For as long as I can remember.
When I was a kid, it was super long, and so thick that my tomboy self had a hard time with it.
Fast forward to middle school. HA! That must have been some cruel joke.
This, ladies, was long before the gift of a straightener. Oh, what I would have given for one of those back then.

I would say I was sort of able to tame it once I got half way through high school? We had an amazing lady in our town who took up so much time with me. I think she probably felt sorry for me. I know I would have.

Anyway, I think once I finally got it to where I wasn't completely embarrassed to be seen in public, I never touched it again. I kept the same hair cut, fixing it the same old way...all the time.

That is, until today.

Awhile back, I was fortunate enough to find another amazing hair stylist.
Her name is Krystal. You can find her at Dyer & Posta in Kennesaw.
Let me tell you. LOVE. THIS. GIRL. She is a rock star! Trust me, your hair needs her.

I'm about to share my new bangs with you...and yes, as usual...I had to take these myself, so be kind.
It's all about the bangs, people.

The Melton Family!

I don't even know where to begin with all this cuteness!
There was shyness, which was quickly replaced with laughter, and there was a lot of talk about a milkshake. :)

Not to mention how much I want a pair of boots like hers!

Here's another fun family session from the weekend!

The Whittemore Family!

I have only recently gotten to know this family, and already, I adore them! They are fun, silly, sweet, and very thoughtful.

I had a blast capturing them as they played around and laughed.

This is what family portraiture is all about for me. The sessions aren't supposed to be boring. They should be more like a fun, family outing. :)

Here are a few of their portraits!

The Holzman Family!

I had the pleasure of photographing this family last year, and was even more excited to this year because there has been a new addition!

Watching these two little brothers was pretty hilarious. This age is always fun to watch because you just can't predict what will happen, nor can you even pretend to plan.

It's just fun to watch it unfold.

Here are a few of their portraits!
