Macie is Turning One!

It doesn't feel like it has been a year since we first saw little Macie, at the hospital, a few hours after she was born. She was so tiny and so beautiful!

Fast-forward through the past year of her newborn, three month, and six month photo sessions, and we have now finished her first birthday session! This is why photography is so important to me. All of those milestones are now memories that her parents, and their families, can look back on in the years to come. It means so much to me that these will be photos Macie will look at when she gets older.

When they first arrived for her session, I was amazed how well she was walking. She was having a blast running all over the place! Then, between all of her little giggles, we got her all dressed up in some tutus I made last week, and she was SO CUTE!

Who knew an iphone, playing kid songs, would be such a huge hit? Technology. Gotta love it. :)

When we made it to her birthday cake, we all got to watch as she played in the icing, trying to figure out exactly what it was. Her dad finally helped her figure out that she could eat it, and then, it was on! HAHA! Apparently, it was delicious.

Happy Birthday, Macie!
